This new 15” LCD module features NVIS Dual Mode (day and night independent backlight system). It displays clearly viewable images under very bright sunny conditions and in low or near dark lighting conditions with the independent NVIS backlight system. True Vision Displays, Inc. has been offering optical bonding service for ruggedized LCD displays for the past 5 years. Recently TVD stepped up higher to begin offering optical bonding of cover glass to endure 50,000 ft. altitude (extreme high altitude). The display(LCD operation range should comply) to operate within the temperature and altitude conditions for Class 1 specified in MIL-E-5400 or equivalent RTCA/DO-160 conditions for continuous and intermittent operation. Cover glasses bonded can be AR/AG glass, Heater-ITO/EMI-ITO coated glass, touch screen, etc.

True Vision Displays, Inc. offers Black Powder Coating Service

True Vision Displays, Inc. begins offering a black powder coating service on the display front bezel. This can minimize the reflection from the typical shiny metal surface of the LCD front bezel when a cover glass (touch screen, anti-reflection glass, EMI glass) is optically bonded in front of bezel of LCD display. True Vision Displays, Inc. also offers masking process on specific areas that has to be protected from being electrically conducted for coating. This special masking process is very useful and specialized for rugged LCD module with LCD grounding clips or rubber gaskets.

True Vision Displays, Inc. can further control the thickness of powder coating to a minimum level to not interfere with total assembly of the display.
